Type normally. Esc is RUN/STOP, Tab is CTRL, Alt is the Commodore key, F1 to F8 are the function keys, and the backquote key is the left arrow. Turn on Joystick on arrows to play with the arrow keys and Space, or plug in a gamepad. Shift+Alt switches between upper and lower case.
The ROMs are our own, BASIC included, so you can type programs in and run them, or load BASIC programs from disk.
